Reconciling Statement
Sunnyside Centenary United Methodist Church as a faith community believes that all people are children of God, and that God’s acceptance, grace and love are available to everyone. We embrace as a gift the diversity of our neighborhood and the world.
We are called in ministry of reconciling all of God’s people. We welcome persons of all ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, economic conditions, marital status, and mental or physical abilities to attend, join and participate fully in the life of our community of faith.
We pray that by living out our call to love and accept all people, our community will be a blessing to each of its participants, to the wider community, and to our world so that we can truly state with conviction that we have Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors.
